Please note: belted cardigan/dress to emphasize the ambiguous in-between belly I have going on right now.
(I'm going to do belly photos at the end of each pregnancy week--since that's when the week technically counts--because pregnancy math is weird.)
So yes, I'm growing a bit! I've felt much better lately and haven't needed to take afternoon naps nearly as much as I did before. My clothes still fit--so getting dressed hasn't been strange yet--although I do tend to wear outfits that either obscure the belly completely or emphasize it as much as possible, because like I said, the in-between stage is pretty awkward and I'm paranoid that people will think I'm either super bloated or all pot-bellied out.
I've been eating a lot of greens this week. Turnips, chard, kale, whatever, I want it. And I can't seem to stop eating those mini Babybel cheeses that are so, so horrible for you but ugh, cheese! My weakness.
I started having insanely vivid dreams at about 4 1/2 weeks and they've stuck around pretty consistently, and a few weeks ago they turned into nightmares. Something notable from Do Chocolate Lovers Have Sweeter Babies?:
I have no idea if it's true, but I'm going to hold onto that bit of information to make me feel better because I don't want to go to sleep and dream about a vet torturing Weetzie! Noooo!Pregnant dreamers have a shorter labor than nondreamers--nearly an hour less, on average. Among the dreamers, those who had vivid nightmares had significantly faster deliveries than those who had pleasant dreams only. They also have a significantly decreased risk of postpartum depression (Pincott 28).

DeleteYou look terrific! I had really vivid dreams/nightmares throughout my pregnancy and my delivery was super easy and speedy so maybe there is something to that :)
