The living/dining room is done for now-- or as "done" as a room ever is, I suppose-- and I finally got around to taking photos today! We still have to do something with the windows (maybe these shades?) and replace our sofa, but I'm happy with everything for now. It definitely feels very home-y. Right now we're working on the porch and my room, so hopefully I'll have more photos to share in a couple of weeks.

Your rooms have so much personality I love them.

You have such a cute living room. It's comfy, cozy and love the quirk to it.
ReplyDeleteLooks great! So cozy. I really, really love that purple sofa-thing. (Yeah, I'm totally in touch with furniture names these days.) The color scheme is very calming and peaceful.

It looks great! Love the Dalek poster :)
ReplyDeleteYour purple lounge is fab...great shape and colour! I love the mix of the slightly gothic ornaments with the pretty dolls...nice contrast.
ReplyDeleteYour bookcase is similar to mine, stuffed to the gunnels! It's kind of comforting to have ALL your books out and be surrounded by them. Out of curiosity, have you read Geraldine Brooks novel 'Years of wonder'? I think you may enjoy it.
wow Cool! And it looks so comfortable. Love it!!
ReplyDeleteThank you guys! :) It really is SO cozy, which was my goal with this new place. I'm so happy with how homey it is already.
ReplyDelete@Sian Haha exactly! I always need more bookcases-- that isn't even all of them, I still have two bins left of children's and history books! I just have nowhere for them to live at the moment. I haven't read that but thanks so much for rec'ing, it sounds exactly like something I'd like! :D
