The entire outfit is thrifted, including the red Seychelles (for $4!!) which yes, might be oneandahalfsizestoobig and I had to make a new little hole on the strap, but I don't care, I couldn't just leave them there.

This sign is sassy!

Hi!
Obviously we're all settled at home in Wilmington, finally. We're renting a house this time around, which is absolutely amazing after living in apartments for years, because it's actually private! And we have our own yard and deck and screened-in porch, which I plan to fill with plants as soon as possible. It's all very exciting. My brain is in design-mode right now, so I think the blog is going to start incorporating more projects and design-related posts as I work on making our house into something lovely. I'm going to be ridiculously busy for the rest of the summer and I love it.
PS: thank you so much for sticking around during my blogging break (if you're still here)! I'm always so paranoid that I'll lose followers when I have to go away for a bit. Although I'm hoping to start posting more regularly this summer, so we'll see how that goes!
Thrifted top, shorts & Seychelles
Tights c/o Tights Please

Great tights! There's no way you could have left the shoes. Especially if you can make them work.
ReplyDeleteaaah! Hanging moss = love. Only not the bugs that live in it. Don't tease the alligators! Aww poor things.
You look devilishly cute!
ReplyDeleteyou look so lovely. those tights are awesome. i am a fairly new follower, so i was sad when you left all of a sudden, but you are baaack! :D XOX
ReplyDeleteAww...the tights are so cool! I'm jealous of your amazing thrifting luck too. Those shoes are too cute. I would love to see pictures of your new house and in all the ways that you're going to decorate. I'm hoping to find a new apartment soon, and I'll be on the look out for decorating inspiration.
ReplyDeleteXOXO
so excited to see photos of your new home!
ReplyDeleteI love those tights! I'm looking forward to seeing how you do your house up, we're getting ready to move next month into our first house and have SO much to do to it, but it'll all be blogged ;-)
ReplyDeleteLovely lovely tights :)
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOD THOSE STOCKINGS! You are so adorable, I don't even know.
ReplyDeleteAlso, that sign is so hilariously amazing!
Cute outfit! That lake sounds fun!
ReplyDeleteI once got a pair of black, peep toed, platform, pumps that were one size two big. I loved them, and wore them lots, but they didn't have a sling back, so I couldn't tighten them and they went "flip flop flip flop" whenever I walked, and I was embarrassed, so now I have to get rid of them. So sad :(
Megan: RIGHT?! I mean they're not for walking on long journeys or anything but I couldn't just ignore them!
ReplyDeleteIsabel: <3 Thank you!
Deer Donna: AWW yay, yes I promise I'm back! :D
AnnaBananaCupcake: I definitely plan to post lots of house pictures! Moving to a new place really is the best because there are so many possibilities and it's incredibly exciting. I've been glued to apartmenttherapy for weeks!
Helen: YES YAY. :D I remember you said that your posts would veer more towards home-things and I totally know what you mean. I can't wait to see yours!
Oringina: Thanks!
Kater: <33333333333333333333!! Ahaha isn't it just SASSY? Like, "YES LOSERS there are alligators here! Get over it and don't feed them!!!"
Katie: AWW haha I love that! Mine don't flop but I definitely have to take small steps and I probably couldn't wear them anywhere that requires lots of walking, haha. But they're okay for short distances and look nice!
