I disappeared from the internet recently because I had an urge to go make this guy. Look at his face! I'm not great at embroidering faces onto things but I really love his expression. Mr. Socktopus was a really quick, easy knit (I finished it in two days, knitting a few hours at a time) and it was really fun coming up with ideas for the socks. It's also a great project to use up those little scraps of yarn in your stash.

I tried to model him on Weetzie but she wasn't having any of it.

Love the last shot Weetzie looks so proud to be wearing the Octopuss on his head :)
ReplyDeleteyour pup and your socktopus are just too adorable!
ReplyDeletecuteness!
ReplyDeletehaha those photos of Weetzie are hilarious!
ReplyDeleteDOG HAT! I'm a fan. The Octopuss needs a little elastic strap so I can strap one onto my pupper's little noggin.

ReplyDeleteBirdie: IKR! If she would keep it on for more than two seconds I would SO do something like that, it was just way too adorable.
