This is what I wore over the weekend for the first farmers market trip of spring-- we bought strawberry honey from a cowboy and picked up ingredients to make guacamole later that night. The sweater is new (to me) because it was in a big box of clothes that my mom recently thrifted and mailed to me. I love argyle but hardly have any, which is weird.. it reminds me of nerdy library related things so I feel like I should have a ton of it on principal. Also in that box from my mom were several vintage dresses that she thrifted at a bag sale for practically nothing! She has magical thrifting powers. I'll have to show off the black lace one soon; it's so amazing, I can't even believe it's mine.
(I think I'm doing duck lips here and I swear I didn't mean to!)
So it's pretty obvious that I love my other Aroha Silhouettes hardcover necklace and wear it all the time, but this is a new version that was just debuted at the beginning of March: it's smaller than my other one and made of matte black stainless steel (the other is from a vinyl record). It's so lovely! I think I might actually love it a bit more because it's so much sturdier. I love how big the first one is, but I'm always so afraid I'll break it because of course that would happen to me. I've only worn it out a few times and just like the other one, people are always complimenting/squinting at it!UO dress
thrifted cardigan & boots
Hue tights
Jeremy's dress socks
Hardcover necklace c/o Aroha Silhouettes (Tania didn't ask me to post about it, but it's one of my favorite necklaces so of course I must. She's also incredibly nice, so I highly recommend her shop! )
PS: Lowered prices in the temporary shop and over here-- please to be buying things! I need to get rid of everything before we move again.

I love all the bright colours of this outfit, those tights are awesome!!
