This weekend we went on the Sandia Peak Tramway-- it's over 10,000 feet to the top, and the view spans something like 11,000 feet all around. It was awesome! We tried to time it with the sunset and got there a bit early; the sun was setting just as we rode back down the mountain and it was gorgeous. My camera battery died right before we went down, though (I'm clearly Super Prepared Girl!) so I had to settle for a few crappy phone pictures towards the end.
It was cold on top of the mountain, who knew. Sometimes I just.. don't think about things. But I got to wear my heart tights again, so that makes up for my lack of practicality! Kind of.
