Christmas stocking-apolooza project: check!
I think Weetzie and George's are my favorites. I tried to make them very bright and silly to match their personalities.
Here is the link to the pattern again in case anyone wants to give it a go. I used Knit Picks Wool of the Andes in a billion different colors and each one took me a few days to finish. They aren't perfect and there were a few hiccups, but overall I'm really happy with the result. I think they're much more fun than our old boring store bought ones!

omigoodness they're awesome!!! i love that yarn, too :) im making mittens out of it right now
ReplyDeleteYay thanks Haley! I used it for my piggy mittens too, it's pretty much perfect.
ReplyDeleteThey're fantastic! I was looking at some overpriced mass-produced stockings in a shop earlier, and thinking how all stocking should have the personal touch. I'd be thrilled if I had one like this!
ReplyDeleteThey're adorable. I just came across your blog and love it!
