Lately I've been a little bit sick and a lot busy, but today I was feeling much better and we decided to brave the cold for some new photos. I tried to post earlier this week, but because I was all sickly the pictures were a disaster! I'm very happy with these, though-- we found a little frozen pond area in the park and amused ourselves by watching the confused ducks. I had to bundle right back up after we snapped these; it's freezing here! (To me, anyway.) I hate to be a boring person that only talks about the weather, but taking outfit photos in the cold is a Completely New Thing. Bear with me!
My bangs! Honestly, sometimes I'm not even close. The sad thing is that I thought I fixed it yesterday.
One of the only things that I've knitted for myself lately-- piggy mittens! How adorable are these? I used this pattern by spillyjane and they came out awesome. And when you get bored you can use them as puppets! Mine sing to Jeremy in the car.
'60s pea coat, Thriftwares
Thrifted top & boots
Target skirt
Random cardigan & tights
sockdreams socks

The piggy mittens are gorgeous. It might be cold where you are but it looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you're growing the bob back, I really missed it! And the uneven bangs are quite cute, actually. Who needs even bangs anyway! Overrated. ;)
ReplyDeleteThe mittens are adorable! I love that they double as puppets. :D
Those mittens are so adorable!
ReplyDeleteNice outfit! But please don't risk freezing in the cold to snap pictures. I'd prefer you to stay healthy!
ReplyDeleteYour mittens seduced me, they're so lovely!
ReplyDeleteThose mittens are so cute! I've learned how to knit the bows not its time to knit some mittens!
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit too! You always know what to wear and you always look so pretty in it!
Tell Jeremy I said hi!
Marja <3
I just found your blog through flickr and really love your style;)
ReplyDeleteGreen Tea & Cupcakes: Thank you! It really is.
ReplyDeleteKat!! :D I really missed it too, honestly. But when I cut it off I was just so tired of it, and then of course several months later I wanted it back asap. And ahaha thank you!
Kate: Thanks! :D
northwest is best: Haha it's okay! It was over pretty quickly. ^_^
6roove: Yay, thank you!
Marja: Aww thanks! This was my first time making mittens and they were pretty easy, but for some reason I had trouble with the left hand. I made two right hand mittens TWICE and had to keep redoing the thumb, haha.
Ophelia: Oh thank you so much! <3
Adorable gloves! I hope you feel better soon. It seems like everyone's getting sick lately. :(
ReplyDeletei love your louise brooks hair! is it easy to take care of?
ReplyDeleteColleen: Aw thanks! :) It's definitely not difficult, but I wouldn't say it's easy-- it requires an insane amount of maintenance. Lots and lots of trimming! Which is why sometimes my bangs are totally crooked and sometimes they're actually right. I'm just trimming them all the time, it seems. It's why I always just cut it myself when I have this haircut.. if I went to a pro I would be in there every week or two!
