"Scott, if your life had a face I would punch it."

pansy lane

Yesterday's very simple outfit. The only reason I'm wearing tights in this awful heat is because we went to the movies and I'm guaranteed to shiver in a movie theater no matter what I'm wearing. The dress is c/o Sophistix which was so nice of them! I was also sent the tuxedo cream blouse, although it's too hot to wear it right now. It's lovely in person, though. I assumed the dress would be a loose-fitting '90s style dress but it actually has a nice little shape. It would have been much cuter with a cardigan though, because of course my arms were freezing. I can't wait for fall.

I suppose I should throw in my opinion on the whole c/o debate since this was sent to me for free and everything. This is only the third free package that I've accepted (the NOVICA bracelet and Modcloth booties being the others), despite being offered random things in the past. It does feel a little strange, but I would never accept something that I wouldn't genuinely buy for myself, and I wouldn't even think of giving a positive review if I didn't believe it to be true. I don't really see a problem in accepting things as long as those guidelines are followed (by me at least, although I'm sure most of you feel the same way). Basically, I'm saying that I won't accept anything and everything just because it's free, so don't worry about seeing a lot of c/o stuff clogging up the blog.

We went to see Scott Pilgrim, which I loved. I can't help it, I think I'll just forever love George Michael Bluth Paulie Bleeker Michael Cera in any movie. I tried hating him like everyone else but it didn't really work, even though yes, this chart is very accurate. And really, I'm guilty of loving practically anything with a Manic Pixie Dream Girl. He was actually really hilarious as Scott (although Kieran stole the show! Heart.)
