And the sky was all violet

modcloth, pansy lane

This was the dress I wore to the Infinitus ball, but since I only got one picture that night I thought it deserved its own post. It's so floofy!

The weekend was spent packing (of course) while listening to my Iggy Pop Pandora station, but we took time out on Saturday to have a birthday lunch with Jeremy's older brother and his wife. It's still so strange that I'm going to be an aunt soon! After that, we drove around looking for interesting photo locations and the concession stand at an old ball park seemed to fit the bill.

The bracelet is c/o NOVICA, and I absolutely love it. NOVICA is a fair trade organization in association with National Geographic that gives artisans a chance to sell their handmade wares worldwide. This bracelet is called "violets" and came from Peru-- the packaging is lovely, just look at the little llama! I'm going to make a pin out of it.

  4. Thank you! :D The color and drape is definitely what drew me to it-- it's so vintage-inspired, I love it. If I could find a vintage dress that delicate and with those colors I would be in heaven.
