Sorry for the lack of posts lately-- we've been having a very unwelcome heat wave and I haven't been motivated to do much dressing up.

I have been working on my Luna Lovegood costume, though, and so far I'm progressing nicely! I finished her shoes last week; I couldn't seem to find that particular pattern online so I just bought white converse and did them with sharpies. They're darker overall than the real pattern but I'm really happy with how they turned out. This week I'll be finishing up her crocheted bag and starting the radish earrings. (This is all for the Harry Potter convention I'm attending in July, by the way!)

  5. Wow, the sneakers look fab...that's dedication for you!

Your gnome necklace is cute and quirky, too! It reminds me of the gnomes in the book 'Gnomes' by Wil Huygen...amazing illustrations and such imaginative detail into the life of a gnome...a fun and magical read.
