I love it! But the color is driving me cuckoo-bananas, it's so uneven. If I can get through the next couple of months all the black should be grown out, but it's hard not to give in and dye it. I'm so happy to have super short hair again!

This outfit is so comfortable, if I substitute the tights for leggings it could quite possibly be my perfect flying outfit. We're going to New Orleans (again!) next week for my birthday and of course I just can't wait to get there. I know we should go other places-- we've been to New Orleans every year since 2007-- but I love the city so much and couldn't think of anywhere I would rather spend my 25th (!!) birthday. So yay, nola birthday for me! I must get through my final school project, and then it's time for bloody marys and happy-hour oysters.

Ack! You look too cute with that hair! And I understand the troubles of resisting hairdye... I'm currently growing out my dyed hair too but I just keep thinking about how wonderful it'd be to go super-extreme with my hair right now. Totes wishing for blue right now.
ReplyDeleteMy love omg you look so, so good. It's beautiful! And it suits you. I somehow think the light roots/dark ends looks much better than the dark roots/light hair thing? But I can understand it's still crazy-making. You still look beautiful. :3
ReplyDeleteAnd YAY NOLA! I hope it's amazing.
it looks fabulous, I've always wanted a pixie but I could never pull it off so I will live vicariously through you
ReplyDeleteIt looks so cute! This cut really suits you!!
ReplyDeleteWow, it so suits you! Great haircut. Are you going to go back to blond?
ReplyDeleteOkay, Hope. Seriously?! Could you look any cuter??? I'm in love with this haircut. <3 <3 <3

ReplyDeleteEek, its so short! You look super duper cute!
ReplyDeleteFab hair!!! I have been toying with getting a pixie cut this summer or next. And I reference Peter Pan today too, lol.
ReplyDeleteYou.Look.Adorable! That haircut was absolutely made for you! Gah!
ReplyDeleteyour hair is seriously amazing. it suits you so so well! You look darling, I love this outfit! especially those red shoes. x
ReplyDeleteLooks great! And I love how the colour of your ring plays off the colour of the wall in the last photo. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteThat is a fab cut, you have a good stylist! A little reminiscent of Mia Farrow...looks very chic and I agree with all the other comments; it's suits you perfectly.
ReplyDeleteAlways makes a birthday extra fun when you have a fresh, new do to parade! What will you pair with it for your birthday night out? That will be a fun outfit to plan for!
You look great! I wanna see your original hair color, too. It probably won't take long to grow out in that cut, but you could use temporary dye in the meantime to prevent the awkward two tone transition ;)
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks lovely. ^^
ReplyDeleteYour hair is so cute and I love those red shoes.

You guys, thank you so much!! I was a little afraid that everyone would hate it, even though I adore it. :D Yay.
ReplyDeleteEline: Ahh thank you! I know what you mean, right now all I can think about its cutting it off more and dying it something crazy, but I must RESIST. Your two-tones look awesome though, mine is just messy!
Phoebe: Daaaarling girl! <3 Thank you times a BILLION. And yes I agree with that too, although at the stage I'm at it's just all patchy and sad. Not too much longer though! I heart you :) :) We need to talk more.
Kelley Anne: I'm not sure what I'm going to do! I'm going to grow out all of the black and stick with my natural color for a while, just to give it a chance, and it seems to be a light brown/dark blonde kinda thing. If it looks terrible I might go blonde-blonde or orangey-red. It's an experiment! Haha.
Jacqui: AHHH I just love you forever. <3 <3 Thank you!
Eyeliah: Ahaha that's awesome, and yes you totally should! I think it would look great on you. I'm a big fan of chopping everything off at least once in your life.
Penelope: THANK YOU! <3 < 3
golightlycat: I know! My roots weren't quite grown out enough but I just had to cut it off anyway because I wanted a new cut for my birthday. It just feels great to do that. I haven't planned my outfit yet, but I've packed quite a few dresses and tights and sparkly things so I'll have to see!
happy birthday cute heart! you look lovely with your little pixie cut xx
