Here are better pictures of that little gray dress from the last post! I love the cream belt and pleats. It has pockets, which I love because it makes it poof a little. I wasn't planning on buying two dresses in that boutique-- I already found two (clearance!) dresses from Urban Outfitters earlier in the week-- but they offered a $25 off coupon for $50 or more and what can I say? That's how they get you. Plus it was my birthday, so I was justifying it all over the place.
Also, as of this week I AM FINISHED WITH LIBRARY SCHOOL! I can hardly believe it and I don't really know what to do with myself. I do know that I've been job hunting since December with no luck (which was expected-- I know it takes forever) and have decided to let myself take a break after graduation. I've never really had a break from worrying since starting college-- I went from undergrad to grad school to worrying about jobs, and it's been so stressful and ridiculous and I just want to enjoy life for a bit. And I'm one of those hyper-worriers, so big decisions really don't come easy for me. So, break time! I definitely still want to be a librarian, but I need to wait until I feel ready before I start job hunting again.
But still, yay graduation! We're driving down to Florida on the 29th so I can be at FSU in person on the 1st. My parents can't come, but FSU is webcasting the ceremony so they can watch it that way, which is awesome. I'm so excited about seeing some of my Florida friends for the first time in ages.

you're super adorable! love the dress and you chic little haircut! Toooo cute.

Congrats to you!! I think you definitely deserve a break from worrying. I hope you enjoy your summer! :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck on finding a job eventually, and hooray for cute dresses!
Congrats on graduating! I am finally finished w/ undergrad in two (!!) weeks, and I am putting off grad school until fall 2011 (NYU or Pratt!) for similar reasons: burnt out, need a break, etc. Library jobs are kind of hard to come by right now, though they are around -- I check the ALA joblist and lisjobs.com religiously. Though I won't have my MLS for a couple years, I have 3+ years experience working in an academic library, which is always a plus. Good luck!
