Right, so. Hair! I need a change. I've been thinking about chopping it off for a while now, but good hair days and compliments always draw me back into bob-love-land. It's still my favorite haircut in the whole wide world, and I'll have it again some day (because I kind of feel like this has become my default style) but it's time for it to go!
I'm thinking of doing it at the beginning of March. New season, new hair, fresh start, right? Honestly I'm just tired of dying it. I want to chop it short and give my natural color a shot at life, so I'll need to grow my roots for a bit.
I blame these darling ladies; the more I look at them, the more I feel the urge to chop!

I've had my hair super short before and loved it, so I'm not nervous about having a weird shaped head or anything. The scary part is seeing how I'll look with my natural color! It's supposedly light brown/dark blonde, but I haven't seen it since.. oh, middle school? Ahh!
Oh wow! I totally didn't recognize Carey Mulligan in that episode. It is hands down my favorite one. Happy to have found another Whovian!

ReplyDeleteI cut my hair super short, Mia Farrow/Michelle Williams inspired a few years ago...let it grow out a bit, and then chopped it all off again a few months ago. I never feel more feminine than when I have a pixie haircut!

ReplyDeleteOh my, that's so funny. My boyfriend and I are currently going through all of the Lost seasons on Netflix Instant Watch! It's ridiculous because on our day off work and class, we didn't even see the light of day. All of a sudden, 14 hours passed and it was pitch black outside! So addicting.

Penelope: AHAHA that is EXACTLY what we've been doing!! Thank goodness for Instant Watch. How hilarious that we're both doing it at the same time. Jeremy recently had three days off in a row and we watched it all day long, never moving from the couch, and it was wonderful.
Diane: I so want to be her best friend. Also I was a bit shocked to find out she's dating Shia LaBeouf, they seem very very opposite. But I guess that's the point!
You'd look cute with just about any haircut, so I say go for the pixie! I would in a second if I could pull it off, but I'd be scary. But you'd be adorable! And wouldn't it be the easiest to take care of?

i had very long hair for most of my life but finally, through a combination of audreys (hepburn & tautou) i decided to bob my hair. 3 months later i had it cut to a pixie. i loved it & so did everyone else!
