I am in love with this wig, it gives me this crazy wonderful mermaid confidence!
I got it in the mail on Monday and immediately looked up Gala Darling's How to Rock a Wig and baby powdered the heck out of it to combat the shininess. It's not insanely amazing quality or anything, but it's good enough and I'm super happy with it! I've been dying to take pictures all week but it's been so rainy.

In college I used to change my hair constantly: I've been light pink, blue, turquoise, magenta, and then a light purple which somehow promptly faded to hot pink. After that, I shaved it all off to 1 1/4" and dyed it black. Then I started growing out the bob, which I've had for about a year and a half now (which is a long time for me!) I adore my current hair and am happy that I've found something I want to stick with, but it still gets boring. Thus, wigs!
And now I want MORE. A pink one, something short and white-blonde, a long blonde one for my Luna Lovegood costume... It's very neat how dramatically different you can look just by changing your hair-- although I used to have long red hair in this exact cut and length, so really it just brings back memories of hair constantly falling into my eyes!
